                                    Resum

     The super-heat-kernel technique is a very efficient method for the
  determination of the one-loop functional of (non-renormalizable) theories
  with boson-fermion interactions. I try to give a pedagogical introduction
   into the subject and I illustrate the method with some applications to
 chiral perturbation theory with baryons and leptons, respectively. Further
