Single spin asymmetries in elastic ep-scattering with transverse spin

Resum

The asymmetries in ep-scattering allow one to access the imaginary part of 
the doubly virtual Compton scattering amplitude. At high energy and 
momentum, the latter can be described in terms of the Generalized Parton 
Distributions.I present a handbag calculation for the beam normal spin 
asymmetry B_n, discuss the validity of the equivalent photon approximation 
for this observable and show that this asymmetry gives a unique 
possibility to access the helicity-flip gluon GPDs.
