                                    Resum

     Strangeness in the proton. The deep inelastic data on lepton proton
    scattering are unveiling a more complex structure for the proton than
  originally expected. After an introduction aimed at the non-specialist I
   will discuss the so called proton spin problem and its strange magnetic
                                  moment.
