        A Few Topics on the Standard Model Phenomenology from Lattice QCD

                                    Resum

  In this talk I focus on our present knowledge of the hadronic parameters
  which are essential for the assessment of the amount of the CP violation
that comes from the Standard Model. I discuss the recent lattice results for
 the $K^0$--$\overline K^0$ and $B^0$--$\overline B^0$ mixing amplitudes. I
 also discuss the present status of the calculations for the $B\to \pi \ell
 \nu$ decay rate. This decay provides an essential constraint onto the shape
 of the unitarity triangle. Finally, I touch on the theoretical predictions
   for the heavy meson lifetime differences/ratios an present new lattice
    results for the relevant matrix elements. In this talk, I try to omit
technical details as much as possible, to make the main ideas clear and easy
      to understand to those who are not familiar with the lattice QCD
                               computations.
