                                    Resum

Recent results from B->J/psi K_s CP asymmetries are still somewhat lower
than the SM expectations. In this talk, we present the predictions for this
asymmetry in two minimal extensions of the SM. In the first part, a generic
MSSM with arbitrary soft breaking terms at the GUT scale is analyzed and we
find that moderate deviations from the SM predictions are naturally
accommodated. Finally an extension of the SM with the addition of a vector
like down quark is presented as a typical model where large deviations from
                     the SM expectations are possible.
