POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN
THEORETICAL NUCLEAR PHYSICS
Nuclear Science Division
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
A Postdoctoral Fellow position with the Nuclear Theory Program at LBNL is expected to be available starting October 1, 2003. Topics being pursued by the current members of the group include: High-energy heavy-ion collisions, QCD matter at high temperatures and densities, QCD hard processes in nuclear collisions, transport descriptions at both the partonic and hadronic level, medium modifications of hadronic properties, chiral-symmetry restoration and DCC phenomena, low energy effective field theories of hadronic interactions and Bose-Einstein condensates. Nuclear Science Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory has a broad range of experimental programs in low and medium energy nuclear physics, weak interaction, nuclear astrophysics, neutrino astrophysics, and high-energy heavy-ion physics. Candidates with research interests in all these areas are encouraged to apply.
Interested candidates are asked to submit their application (containing CV, publication list, and statement of research interests and plans) and arrange for at least three reference letters sent to:
