                                    Resum

The Gamma-ray Large Area Space Telescope (GLAST) exploits particle physics
detector technology to study gamma-rays from tens of MeVs to hundreds of
GeVs originating in the cosmos. The detector consists of a pre-shower
tracker (to measure pair conversion electrons) followed by a calorimeter.
GLAST will locate sources with arc-minute precision over 2.5 steradians
solid angle and give a typical single photon energy resolution of <10%. The
Gamma-ray Large Area Space Telescope (GLAST) Project
