                                    Resum

 Experimental aspects of precision measurements at the LHC are discussed. In
 particular, various methods of the luminosity measurement are described as
  well as the precision requirements for the `base-line' physics programme.
 One of these methods involves an accurate measurement of the inelastic and
elastic proton-proton scattering using very forward detectors. A possibility
  of tagging two-photon production at the LHC using these detectors is also
                                 discussed.
