                                    Resum

    We discuss how CP-violation could affect the results of the up-coming
 long-baseline experiments and the prospects of observing such effects at a
 neutrino factory. We consider the standard three neutrino scenario with the
 large mixing angle MSW mechanism accounting for the solar neutrino deficit
            and four neutrino scenarios with a sterile neutrino.
