                                    Resum

    The anisotropies of the Cosmic Microwave Background are analyzed. We
  emphasize on the origin and meaning of these anisotropies, which --in the
 Gaussian case-- are well described by the so-called angular power spectrum.
This spectrum is obtained in various cases and its features are interpreted.
It appears to be dependent on the values of elusive cosmological parameters.
  Appropriate measurements would lead to the observational power spectrum,
 which should coincide with the theoretical one for the right values of the
 cosmological parameters. Particular attention will be focused on the PLANCK
      mission of ESA, which has been designed to perform very accurate
                               measurements.
