Abstract

We discuss the calculation of the NNLO corrections to the photon energy 
spectrum in the rare B -> X_s gamma decay in the Standard Model. The 
leading corrections to the spectrum, coming from the interference of 
graphs including the magnetic dipole operator O_7, were calculated 
independently by two groups and they were recently included in the first 
estimate of the B -> X_s gamma branching ratio at NNLO. The calculation of 
corrections to the spectrum coming from other operators is currently under 
way.
